Our Mission

We believe that all we are and all we have are gifts from God,
and we are thankful. It is our mission to share the love of God
with each other and with the rest of the world.

TOWN WIDE YARD SALE: Wes and Katie volunteered to be the June 1 event coordinators. We will be selling many of the items from the old kitchen as well as ones donated. Please price your items before you leaving them. We will also be selling our “Grab and Go” lunch, featuring hot dogs, easy to eat sandwich rolls, chips and beverages. Rita seeks baked goods and volunteers to work at the bake table. Preferred items: cookies, brownies, all kinds of squares, muffins, etc. Please support Rita when she calls. You can drop off baked goods Friday, May 31 or early Saturday, June 1.

TRANSITIONS: The Vestry decided to eliminate Parish Life Guild. Leadership duties are shared by the Ministry of Fun, Fund Raising Event Coordinators, and the Coffee Hour Coordinator (Lucinda). The Vestry felt that this configuration more accurately reflects how we function as a community in fun, fellowship and fundraising.

THE WAY OF LOVE: The Presiding Bishop Michael B Curry invites us to practice The Way of Love, practices for a Jesus centered life. The Lenten program for the Diocese is grounded in these practices. You can learn more at The Way of Love.

LECTIONARY STUDY: Rev. Miriam Acevedo holds a weekly lectionary study on Fridays at 9 AM in the undercroft of St. Stephen’s.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE:The Godly Play program is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.
